Training on enhanced tools in Rust surveillance in Bhutan
November 20, Thimphu: The National Plant Protection Centre (NPPC) in collaboration with Sathguru Management Consultant, India, conducted one day Pre-seasoned training on “Deployment of enhanced tools in Rust surveillance in Bhutan”. Twenty five participants from ARDC-Bajo, ARDC-Wengkhar, ARDC-Samtenling, NPPC and Extension Agents from Bumthang, Chukha, Paro, Haa and Mongar participated in the training. The training included session on active usage of enhanced tools in surveillance before commencement of wheat season, hands on training on web based SARRC Rust tool box and SAARC Rust Tool box application in android device. The participants were also provided with their credentials for using the tool box. The training was organized with the financial support from Dilivering Genetic Gains in Wheat (DGGW).
