A group of 17 Desuups who are undergoing De-suung Skilling Programme on Horticulture at Phobjikha, Wangdue Phodrang for three months visited the National Plant Protection Centre today along with the Horticulture Trainer Mr. Michael Snow and Co-Trainer Mr. Tashi Dorji from Agriculture Research and Development Centre Bajo. The visit was made as a part of the training course and to get familiarized with the Centre’s vision, mission and mandates.

The program commenced with a welcome note by the Program Director followed by Presentation about the National Plant Protection Centre. After the presentation about the Centre, the team was taken for a lab visit by Weed Management Program and Entomology Program.
