- 1986-1991: Worked as a Project Manager for the Plant Protection Project funded by EU. The National Plant Protection Centre at Semtokha was established during this period. Worked as National Director in the EU Funded second Phase of Integrated Pest Management Project till 2000 and was later transferred to the Department as Senior Research Officer. After the creation of CORRB, served as Chief Research Officer.
- 2008: Promoted as Plant Protection Specialist in ES3.
- 2016: Superannuated in the position of ES2
- Major Contributions:
- Contributed towards phasing out of the subsidy on all pesticides in a phase manner and complete subsidy on pesticides was removed from 1995.
- Shortlisting of genuine pesticides companies from India for procurement of PP chemicals.
- Shortlisting of fungicides, insecticides and weedicides as per WHO classification of pesticides
- Collection of obsolete pesticides from across the agriculture stores in the country for safe disposal.
