Citrus fruit drop collection and destruction campaign

The NPPC  carried out two days campaign on Citrus Fruit Drop Collection and Destruction at Dekiling and Gakiling gewog , Sarpang on 12th and 13th  Dec, 2017. Around 300 farmers attended the program

Objectives of the Campaign 

  1. To educate and sensitize the importance of community approach of collection and destruction of dropped citrus fruits
  2. To create awareness on different methods of citrus fruit drop collection and destruction.

Mrs. Yeshey Dema

Mrs. Yeshey Dema joined the civil service on 26th February 1996. She headed the Soil Fertility Unit, NSSC from 2008 till 2013. In 2013, she was transferred to the National Plant Protection Centre as the Program Director. She holds M. Phil in Soil Science from the University of Reading, UK.
