Civil Service Award

The National Plant Protection Centre organized Civil Service Award ceremony on 16 December 2022. The ceremony was graced by the Program Director and the NPPC staff. Mr. Sonam Dorji and Mrs. Dema both are awarded with the Bronze medal for 10 years of their service to the Nation. The Civil Service Awards were conferred to the recipients in keeping with the Royal Command issued to the Royal Civil Service Commission for recognition of their dedicated service to the Tsa-Wa-Sum. The National Plant Protection Centre fraternity would like to extend our sincere “Tashi Delek” for their commitment, hard work, and dedication to the Tsa-Wa-Sum.

Program Director

Mrs. Yeshey Dema

Mrs. Yeshey Dema joined the civil service on 26th February 1996. She headed the Soil Fertility Unit, NSSC from 2008 till 2013. In 2013, she was transferred to the National Plant Protection Centre as the Program Director. She holds M. Phil in Soil Science from the University of Reading, UK.
