November 22, Thimphu: Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture and Forests, Lyonpo Yeshey Penjor accompanied by Director of Agriculture, Directorate services and Chief of Policy and Planning Division, MoAF visited the National Plant Protection Centre, Semtokha on 21st Nov, 2018. His Excellency was presented on the mandates, achievements of 11th Five Year Plan and activities carried out the the Centre. Constraint and challenges faced by the Centre was also highlighted as part the presentation. After the presentation, His Excellency visited the laboratory facilities (Weed science, Pathology and Entomology laboratories) of the Centre and services available with the laboratory was presented by respective unit heads at the time of visit.
