The successful completion of the National Plant Protection Referral Laboratory was celebrated on 19th June, 2023 with a grand inauguration ceremony. The Referral laboratory was completed at a cost of Nu. 35.499 million supported by the National Organic Flagship Program. The inaugural ceremony was held by Honorable Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, His eminence Truelku Jampel Tenpai Khorlo and senior officials of Ministry of Agricultural and Livestock. The event marked a significant milestone in the advancement of agriculture in the region. The laboratory is on track to become a crucial hub for cutting-edge plant protection research, innovation, and expertise.
