New recruits of FMCL visits NPPC

A total of 16 new recruits of Farm Machinery Corporation Limited visited  National Plant Protection Centre (NPPC) on 16th November 2020. The visitors were welcomed and the overall presentation of the Center’s mandates and function was delivered by Mr. Doe Doe, Plant Protection Specialist of NPPC. They also made a visit to Pathology, Entomology and Weed Science lab.

The main objectives of the visit were to;

  • Familiarize the new recruits with the Centre’s mandates and functions.
  • Observe and get acquainted with insect pest & weed herbarium collection.
  • Identify equipment used in the pathology laboratory.

Mrs. Yeshey Dema

Mrs. Yeshey Dema joined the civil service on 26th February 1996. She headed the Soil Fertility Unit, NSSC from 2008 till 2013. In 2013, she was transferred to the National Plant Protection Centre as the Program Director. She holds M. Phil in Soil Science from the University of Reading, UK.
