Virtual training on Plant Protection Product Information Management System

The National Plant Protection Centre (NPPC), Semtokha has developed the Plant Protection Product Information Management Systems (PPP-IMS) with Funding support from the GCF Project. The system is to digitize the indentation and distribution process of Plant Protection Products(pesticides) and to generate the quality information on Plant Protection Product usage at the farm and national level. Henceforth, the agriculture extension agents and DAOs will be required to submit pesticide indent to NPPC and subsequently distribute to the end users (farmers) solely through the PPP-IMS. As such, it is very important to familiarize the PPP-IMS user through hands-on training before rolling out the system.

In this regards, NPPC would like to request DAOs of Bumthang, Chhukha. Dagana. Gasa, Lhuentse, Mongar, Pema Gatshel. Samdrup Jongkhar, Samtse, Sarpang, Trashigang, Trashiyangtse, Trongsa, Tsirang, and Zhemgang Dzongkhags to kindly book a suitable date to conduct virtual training on usage of Plant Protection Product Information Management System (PPP-IMS) with NPPC. For booking the date and any clarifications, kindly email to sonamdorji2@moaf.gov.bt  It was communicated through earlier via letter DoA/ADP/18/2022-23/80 dated on 21 September, 2022.
